I am sad to say this could be the last first day of school pictures at the front door for the Malones. There will be more first days, but probably not together and probably not here.
Lilly is still pursuing civil engineering and is starting her sophomore year at Kennesaw State University. Over the summer she was able to intern at my company. I hope it was a good experience for her and we didn’t steer her away from engineering too much. For me, it was a great and truly unique experience to work with your child; one I am thankful and will never forget.
Katie is a senior at Lambert high school. This summer she finally decided the school bus is for the birds and it was time to drive, so she got her license. On the first try by the way. No really, only one try. This isn’t so much to her credit as it is an inditement of the DMV.
