With the new arrival on the way, Lilly has graduated to the big girl room!!!! She has a brand new bed that should last her all the years and more that she lives with us. We kept with a grown up ladybug and flower theme. Paul was great with adding his decorating ideas to the mix. When we were at Havertys picking out her bed, he saw a princess room with this pretty netting over the bed. I then had a mission to find out where we could get something like this for Lilly! So she has her own little princess area, and she does really well with leaving it alone. I thought that she might try to rip it out of the ceiling, but she has been so well-behaved in her room. I only wish that she felt the need to keep her room clean. She’s got to have everything pulled out all over her floor before she will sit and play. I have a heart attack when I go check on her to see that the room I had just straightened up is now a complete disaster! Our little monster also has her own TV, and that keeps her pretty happy to have some noise in there while she plays. I love it when she tries to repeat the alphabet with Elmo. It makes me laugh the letters that she chooses to remember. Since Grandma, or “Monga” as Lilly calls her, introduced her to sweet tea, Lilly will shout out “T” at the top of her lungs when Elmo says it. Once again this is one of those posts that will have a wait a little while before we get the pictures up. Hopefully I can get to playing on the computer a little more this week that I have off of school!

I am happy to report that her “Monga” was the first one to officially sleep on Lilly’s new bed – the one under her bed, on the floor. It was great until she woke up at 2:30 a.m. and stepped on my head to try to go get in bed with Mama and DaDa. The first night she ended up with them, but the second night I was able to coax her on the bottom bed with me, and then I put her back in her bed. She seems to like playing in her room a little more which I’m sure helps Laura and Paul a little.
