It’s hard to believe that our oldest is 7 now! She hasn’t lost anymore teeth- thank goodness! She’s going to pass me in height probably by 3rd grade at this rate. She’s 51 inches tall, and she weighs 57 lbs. She’s grown about 3 inches since last year’s well check! I can already wear her slippers, and she’s not that far off from my regular shoes. She thinks this is great so that she can wear my high heels (which is never going to happen). Lilly is making great academic progress. She’s reading better each time, and we’ve advanced to chapter books. Her favorites so far are Bad Kitty, Amelia Bedelia, Fancy Nancy, and Dr. Seuss. She likes anything about princesses, and she also likes to read non-fiction specifically concerning animals. She is in gymnastics and soccer right now. She really loves gymnastics, and I feel like this has helped her clumsiness some. Unfortunately she is still half me, and there is nothing she can do to help genetics with clumsiness. Her favorite subjects in school are art and science. Lilly’s birthday falls on spring break every year, and this year was no different. It’s nice for us because she gets to do anything she chooses for the day. Paul asked us all out to lunch, and she chose to eat at Moe’s. Paul has been adventurous with taking the girls to different places to eat since I’ve been in school, and Lilly has really taken to eating at Moe’s. Lilly is really into American Girls right now, and between Nana, Papa, and Santa the girls each have 4. So, Lilly decided that she thought her dolls needed a Jeep to ride around the house in along with a beauty salon chair. I swear I’ve never seen anything like this, and I was a kid once too! Since it is still spring break, Lilly is going to have her party with friends after the first week back to school so that everyone can be there. Look for the pictures to see what fun she and her friends have doing all things gymnastics!
