Lilly has also been growing like a weed! Lilly recently got a haircut, and I wasn’t allowed to chop much off because she wants hair like “Tangled”. Lilly is really into all things princess, and we have frequent talks about princess stuff. Lilly’s back in school, and she goes five days a week this year. She absolutely adores her teacher this year. Her first major accomplishment this year has been writing her name all by herself! I’m mostly surprised that we haven’t found writing on the walls just because she absolutely loves writing her own name on anything she can find. She also has taken to using the scissors really well. She understands how to use them only with paper and while supervised. We worked really hard on her letters and numbers over the summer, but she seems to do so much better in a classroom. I think that being around other kids really helps her out much like Katie. Lilly is becoming less picky with the things she eats now. She ate a hamburger, and I thought I was going to fall over in shock. Paul is enjoying having another beef lover in the house! Lilly is also becoming very fashion forward these days. I frequently get that certain things don’t match or I have the wrong bow picked out for her. I’ve even been told that certain hair styles just aren’t cool for her anymore! I knew that these days would come, but I never thought that I would hear it at 4 years old!!!! I’ve also been getting the questions about getting earrings on the way home from school. I think that she might get them for her birthday, and she really seems to grasp that it’s going to hurt for a moment when they do it. She doesn’t seem to mind it as long as she gets to pick out her earrings!!! Well, more to come on the Lilly front especially since the holidays are fast approaching!
